“The Vaults,” the spa of Villa Antica Colonia, is an oasis of relaxation born from the Martinazzi family’s vision, focused on the well-being of their guests while preserving the building’s architectural tradition. This room, located on the semi-basement level, like every corner of the villa, tells a piece of the home’s history: long ago, a large central tub served as a washroom, the ancestor of what we would today call a laundry. Its great charm lies in the vaulted ceiling, a distinctive witness of the era that captures and conveys its historic allure. The heart of “The Vaults” is brought to life and warmed by a stunning wood-burning fireplace, which dominates the space and creates an atmosphere of unique and complete intimacy for couples.
